1. C. After the funeral, the residents of the apartment building sent flowers faithfully to the cemetery.
Sama dengan Bahasa Indonesia,
S + P + O + Ket. tempat + Ket. waktu.
Keterangan cara, kalau ditempatkan di tengah kalimat, bisa diletakkan sebelum P atau setelah O. Di soal ini, sent = P; faithfully = keterangan cara; to the cemetery = ket. tempat; dan all weks, this week = ket. waktu.
Jadi, opsi A akan benar kalau sent flowers faithfully to the cemetery all weeks (mengirim kembang-bunga dengan setia ke tempat makam (selama) berminggu-minggu). OR faithfully sent flowers to the cemetery all weeks (dengan setia mengirim kembang-bunga ke tempat makam (selama) berminggu-minggu).
Sebagai pembanding, kalau opsi B dan D diterjemahkan langsung akan menjadi:
b. sent to the cemetery each week flowers faithfully = mengirim ke tempat makam tiap minggu kembang-bunga dengan setia.
d. sent each week faithfully to the cemetery flowers = mengirim tiap minggu dengan setia ke pemakaman bunga.

2. B. Having been served lunch adalah adverbial/gerund phrase yang merupakan reduksi dari sub-clause After the committee members had been served lunch. Kalau kita menggunakannya dalam bentuk adverbial, subject dari sub-clause ini (kata yang digarisbawahi) harus menjadi subject dari main clause.
Opsi A, C dan D salah karena tidak mengikuti rule ini dan error seperti ini disebut illogical participial modifier atau dangling participle.

Yes, ini adalah kalimat subjunctive . Olehnya itu, verb di that clause selalu dalam simple form verb (See. Penggunaan the simple form of BE). Dan untuk British English, auxiliary should biasanya ditambahkan sebelum verb1 ini.
