2. B. All of the members of the English Team are going to Bali as soon as they accomplish their project. (See Subject-verb agreement)

3. A. Today in 2008, my sister graduated from her college with a cum laude title and a perfect grade.

Because it’s December 25, 2012 today, the expression ‘Today in 2008’ means that it was on December 25, 2008, which was exactly 4 years ago. Therefore, the verb should be in the past form (i.e. graduated). (See Simple past tense)

4. A. The donators will need a little information about our proposal and our timetable before they decided to donate their money. (See Uncountable nouns)

5. C. The world economy, for the first time in six decades, is likely to decline significantly this year. (See: Like vs Alike section Likely)

Sir. No 11. Why didn’t the answer B ?
“Indonesia together with 18 other countries and The European Union” is a “Subject”, isn’t it?
and it could be replaced by “them”
So. If the Subject is plural, isn’t it should be plural as well ( were ) ?

Good question.

Seperti telah disinggung di posting Subject-verb agreement, ekspresi together with, begitu juga ekspresi along with, as well as dan accompanied by, tidak mempengaruhi subject-verb agreement. Kalau main subjectnya (noun sebelum ekespresi-ekspresi tersebut) singular (orang ketiga tunggal) maka verb-nya juga harus singular, sedangkan kalau main subjectnya plural, maka verb-nya juga harus plural. Di question 9, Indonesia adalah singular (one country), oleh karena itu, verb-nya was attending, bukan were attending.
