2. AS WELL ditempatkan setelah elemen kalimat yang dihubungkannya, dan dibutuhkan AND sebelum elemen kalimat tersebut.

Subject1 + AND + subject2 + AS WELL + Verb …
Subject + verb + AND + verb +  AS WELL ….
Subject + verb + object1 + AND + object2 + AS WELL

Contoh:

1. Bambang and his friends as well are going to go to Bali.
2. Students should study and practice as well.

NOTE:

a. Dalam pola Subject1 + AS WELL AS + Subject2 + Verb …, bentuk verbnya ditentukan oleh subject1. Kalau subject1 singular maka verbnya juga singular, kalau subject1 plural maka verbnya juga plural. Ekspresi yang menggunakan rule ini silakan baca Subject verb agreement, Word yang selau diikuti oleh singular verb, Penggunaan Either/Neither.

b. Dalam pola Subject1 + AND + Subject2 + AS WELL + Verb … bentuk verbnya selalu plural.
