Wow……..!! What do we have here?
You probably have known them very well, but for those who have not, they are Anne Hathway, Jessica Alba, and Rose McGowan, consecutively. They’re all beautiful, aren’t they? Bahkan menurut situs articlepool.com, ketiga artis Hollywood ini merupakan artis yang paling hmmm… ! But, that’s not the point their pictures are here.
Dengan menggunakan ketiga foto artis di atas, coba anda praktekkan apa yang sudah anda baca di topik Equal Comparisons dan Unequal Comparisons. Jika anda belum membaca topik tersebut, silakan review dulu tulisannya, baru kemudian balik ke halaman ini lagi. Remember, ini dimaksudkan hanya untuk latihan dan diskusi semata. Olehnya itu, anda tidak usah merasa sungkan atau takut bahwa tulisannya akan salah.
Sebagai pembuka, berikut adalah contoh kalimat yang bisa saya buat:

Your sentence would’ve been perfect if you had written:
If one of them were my wife, I would be the happiest person on this web (in this world).
An unreal conditional of the fact: one of them is not my wife, so I am not the happiest person in the world. The fact is in the simple present tense.
Great sentence. But, you should put Soenarso’s comment into consideration.
I think I’m gonna change my mind. This is because the more I look at Rose’s eyes, the better she looks. She looks more and more beautiful now. What’s wrong with me…?

Yes, you can group 2 or more objects/persons as one. In your sentence, Jessica Alba is as mellow as Rose McGowan, and you then compare these two persons, as one group, to Anne Hathaway.
In your sentence, however, the most important element is missing, namely, a to be. It should be:
I think Anne Hathaway IS as mellow as Jessica Alba and Rose McGowan.
Or:
I think Jessica Alba and Rose McGowan ARE as mellow as Anne Hathaway.
What about this part?

1. Missing a to be.
2. More aggressive than who?
This part should be either of the following:
Rose McGowan IS more aggressive than Jessica Alba.
Rose McGowan IS more aggressive than Anne Hathaway.
Rose McGowan IS more aggressive than Jessica Alba and Anne Hathaway. (In this case, Jessica Alba is as aggressive as Anne Hathaway, but the two are less aggressive than Rose McGowan).
Rose McGowan IS the most aggressive of the three.
NOTE: Use superlative when comparing three objects/persons or more.

Jafar sebenarnya sudah paham dalam membuat kalimat perbandingan, cuman masih kelupaan memakai to be. Di kalimat yang Jafar buat, to be yang tepat adalah IS.
Di latihan ini, topik yang dibandingkan berjumlah 3 orang. Dalam bentuk comparative, lawan bicara akan bingung atau bertanya-tanya kalau kita cuman bilang:
Rose McGowan is more aggressive.
Rose lebih agresif dengan siapa ya? Lebih agresif dengan Jessica Alba ataukah lebih agresif dengan Anne Hathaway?
Nah, agar tidak timbul pertanyaan seperti itu, sebaiknya ditambahkan “…than …”, misalnya menjadi:
Rose McGowan is more aggressive than Jessica Alba.
atau
Rose McGowan is more aggressive than Anne Hathaway.
Tetapi jika topik yang dibandingkan hanya berjumlah dua, misalnya Luna Maya dan Agnes Monica, dan lawan bicara sudah tahu topik yang dibandingkan tersebut, maka ekspresi “…than…” dapat dihilangkan.
Misalnya:
Luna Maya is taller.
Agnes Monica sings better.
Jika topik/hal yang dibandingkan berjumlah 3 atau lebih, kita lebih baik gunakan superlative, khususnya jika kita menyatakan bahwa yang satu terbaik, atau terjelek, dan ter + adjective/adverb lainnya dibandingkan dengan yang lainnya.
