Practice test ini merupakan salah satu post terfavorite (paling sering direview)di blog ini. Itu mungkin karena Daniel sudah lama tidak buka-buka (baca) pelajaran bahasa Inggris. Tapi, skorenya sudah lumayan kok, dan Practice test di blog ini semata-mata untuk merefresh memory anda, serta untuk mendeteksi di bagian mana harus dibenahi lagi. Sebuah metode santai tapi sangat membantu dalam meningkatkan English skill.

Dear Mr. Swara Bhaskara;
That’s a good practice test. I just doubt obout the placement of “S” in the sentence as questions number 6 and 9. Could you please explain to me how to put “s” in the right words.
Kind Regards,

1. Pokok kalimat dari kalimat soal no.6 adalah:
Food tastes good.
Food (= makanan) dalam kalimat ini adalah singular subject, yang dapat diganti dengan subject pronoun “it“. Khusus untuk kalimat-kalimat dalam simple present tense, jika subject-nya singular, verb1 yang mengikutinya juga harus singular (verb1 + s atau verb1 + es). Dalam kalimat ini, taste berubah menjadi tastes. (Penggunaan -s atau -es dapat dibaca pada topik simple present tense).
Walaupun diberi artikel “the”, adjective clause “she cooks“, dan adverb of frequency “always“, singular verb tastes tidak berubah.
The food she cooks always tastes good.
Contoh lainnya:
The rose smells fragrant now. The rose (that) he gave me last night still smells fragrant now.
The song sounds great. The song (that) I am listening now sounds great.
Sebaliknya, jika subject dari kedua kalimat di atas dibuat plural, maka verb1 yang mengikutinya juga harus dalam bentuk plural (Verb1 tidak perlu diimbuhi -s atau -es).
The roses smell fragrant now. The roses (that) he gave me last night still smell fragrant now.
The songs sound great. The songs (that) I am listening now sound great.
2. -s atau -es tidak ditambahkan pada uncountable nouns (benda tidak dapat dihitung).
Kata-kata seperti: time, money, sugar, dst adalah uncountable noun, olehnya itu tidak perlu diimbuhi -s atau -es.
In order to improve your English, you need to allocate enough time to study English.
I don’t have enough money to buy food.
My wife didn’t put enough sugar in my coffee. It’s bitter.
Sebaliknya, pada countable noun, tambahkan -s atau -es agar noun tersebut menjadi plural (jamak). Kata-kata seperti book, word, pen, dst adalah countable nouns.
Do we need to have enough books to study English?
We cannot speak English well because we don’t have enough English words.
Yesterday I bought five pens but now I have only one pen left.

October 12, 2009
You’re welcome, Mr. Soenarso.
Your English is not bad at all. I can see it from the way you wrote. You have used the English patterns very well. There are only small mistakes in it.
Thanks Mr. Bhaskara for your blog. I am very interested in English but I don’t know the “best method” for me.
There are only some little mistakes, aren’t there? So, you only need to refresh and practice what you’ve got. Through every day practice, you will encounter or learn new English usages and your English skill will develop gradually. If you find this blog useful for you, you can practice your English with me using the Yahoo Messenger when I am online. Moreover, you can write your sentences in question in “Your Questions” category. I will try to correct your writing and give some suggestions if needed.
Age? Believe me! Age is not a limiting factor in studying English.

WHAT TO STUDY FIRST
Hi Alhidayat! How are you? It’s nice to have you here.
Well, as a start refresh kembali pola ke-3 tensis yang paling sering digunakan, yaitu: simple present, simple past, dan simple future tense, khususnya dalam membedakan penggunaan pola:
“S + verb + (O + keterangan)” ,dan
“S + to be + adjective/noun”.
Gunakan atau praktekkan yang sudah direfresh tadi, apakah melalui SMS, atau chatting di FB atau YM, atau sharing di sini.
Dalam membuat contoh-contoh kalimat, gunakanlah kata-kata yang paling sering digunakan atau yang paling berkesan, kemudian cek apakah tulisannya sudah benar atau belum. Misalnya, benarkah kalau aku tulis begini:
Good luck and have fun with English.
Alhidayat
October 29, 2009
Untuk contoh yang mas berikan tadi seperti:
I love you dan I loved her
yang jadi pertnyaan saya apa sih perbedaan kata yang menggunakan love dan loved, mohon penjelasannya,,
Swara Bhaskara
October 29, 2009
I loved her adalah kalimat dalam pola simple past tense. Tensis ini digunakan untuk mengekspesikan fakta dan action yang terjadi in the past dan telah berakhir in the past (di waktu lampau). Jadi makna dari kalimat “I loved her” adalah DULU aku cinta dia tapi sekarang aku sudah tidak cinta dia lagi.
Honey, please don’t be jealous of her because I love you now and I will always love you forever.
Untuk lebih jelasnya, silakan review simple present tense, past tense, future tense.

Selamat malam mas, yang manakah yang benar dalam kalimat berikut ini:
What happen ? atau
What happened ? Tolong beri sedikit saya pencerahan atas ke bingungan yang telah saya alami..
Swara Bhaskara
November 4, 2009
Selamat malam juga. How are you?
Untuk verb “happen”, jika digunakan dalam kalimat tanya, tidak pernah digunakan dalam simple present tense. Jika kita bertanya “Apa yang terjadi”, kejadian yang ditanyakan tersebut pasti sudah selesai dan terlewatkan sehingga timbul pertanyaan tersebut, bukan? Nah, karena sudah terjadi dan berakhir in the past, maka kalimatnya dinyatakan dengan simple past tense:
What happened?
Jawabannya mungkin saja:
Someone broke my window.
Somebody stole my money.
Ronny, Mr. Anu’s son, kicked our son. dst.
Jika kita bertanya “Apa yang telah terjadi?”, maka pertanyaannya:
What has happened?
Jika kita bertanya “Apa yang akan terjadi jika kita tidak pergi ke sekolah?”, maka kalimatnya:
What will happen if we don’t go to school?
Jika pada saat bertanya, kejadiannya masih berlangsung, kita akan bertanya “Apa yang sedang terjadi di sini?”, dan dalam bahasa Inggris menjadi:
What is happening here?
Jika pola kalimat positifnya: S + verb2 +…, maka what hanya menggantikan S (subject).
CORRECT: What happened?
INCORRECT jika: What did happen?

good night Mr. I’m so sorry because my reply is too long. Actually, i’m BINGUNG must where to start. Saya sudah ikut practice test 1 and result is very bad. Saya juga sedang berusaha untuk memupuk komitmen agar tetap semangat in English Study. hehehe.., thanks for your reply before
Swara Bhaskara
February 4, 2010
Komitmen adalah salah satu pilar agar motivasi dalam belajar bahasa Inggris dapat dipertahankan. Good for you!
And regarding your writing above, suggestions that I could provide are as follows:
1. MR vs SIR
Contoh:
Adirama : Nice to meet you, Mr…..
John Stewart: Oh, Stewart. John Stewart. Nice to meet you too, Adirama.
Untuk memanggil/menyebut pak atau tuan barulah digunakan SIR, dan SIR ini tidak perlu diikuti oleh nama, kecuali SIR tersebut sudah melengket dan menjadi bagian dari nama orang tersebut (Misalnya: Sir Alex Ferguson, si pelatih MU).
Contoh:
John Stewart: Could you tell me how to get to the director’s office, please!
Adirama : Yes, sir. Atau, Yes, Mr. Stewart. Just walk straight and then turn right on….
2. Makna dari kalimat “…my reply is too long” adalah respon/tanggapanku terlalu panjang (misalnya: 4 halaman).
So, your writing could be revised as follows:
Good night, sir. I’m so sorry because it took too long to reply to yours. Actually, I’m confused to determine where to start learning English. I have tried the test 1, but the result was very bad. I’m also trying to keep my commitment to stay motivated in studying English. Hehehe. Thanks for your previous reply.

Swara Bhaskara
January 24, 2010
Dalam expresi seperti ini, SUCH = begitu. Selain such, juga bisa digunakan SO, namun jika noun yang mengikutinya tunggal dan noun tersebut diterangkan oleh adjective, pola penggunaannya sedikit berbeda. Bedanya terletak pada penempatan article A/AN.
… SUCH + A/AN + adjective + singular noun…
… SO + adjective + A/AN + singular noun…
Diantara kedua pola ini, pola yang pertama lebih sering digunakan.
Contoh:
You have SUCH AN excellent English that you can communicate in English well. (Kamu punya (kemampuan) bahasa Inggris yang begitu bagus sehingga kamu dapat berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris dengan baik.
Atau:
You have SO excellent AN English that you can communicate in English well. (Kamu punya (kemampuan) bahasa Inggris yang BEGITU bagus sehingga kamu dapat berkomunikasi dalam bahasa Inggris dengan baik.
Jika noun yang mengikutinya jamak (plural), article A/An tidak diperlukan.
Contoh:
Thanks for SUCH nice words.
Thanks for SO nice words.
Pola-pola penggunaan SUCH dan SO lainnya akan di posting besok. Please stay tuned!

Don’t worry!. Itu semata-mata karena Fauziah sudah lama tidak buka-buka pelajaran bahasa Inggris. Benar gak?
Metode pembelajaran yang terbaik adalah membaca materinya dan langsung practice materi yang baru saja dibaca agar pemahaman terhadap materi itu semakin kuat. AND, setiap muncul keraguan silakan diskusikan dengan teman-teman atau dengan saya di blog ini.
Remember: A question will remain a question if left unanswered.
Sebagai langkah awal, materi apa yang perlu dibaca? Tanggapan atas pertanyaan ini dapat dibaca di atas, yaitu tanggapan terhadap pertanyaan Mas Alhidayat, posted on October 29.

Welcome aboard Prita. We’re all pleased to have you here. Your English is not bad at all. I can see it from your writing in which there are only some small mistakes.
NOTE:
1. Pasa saat Prita menulis comment di atas, action SEDANG SEARCHING sudah berakhir in the past, so tensis yang tepat digunakan adalah past continuous tense (i.e. I was searching….)
2. Kalau diikuti oleh noun, adjective “proud” membutuhkan preposition OF.
3. Jangan lupa menambahkan -s atau -es pada contable noun jika noun tersebut plural (i.e parts, questions)
4. Kata “answer” dan “get” adalah verb (kata kerja). Kalimat aktif dalam pola simple present tense dan past tense tidak membutuhkan to be.
5. Verb “Get” sebaiknya dalam past tense (GOT) karena action dari verb “get” di kalimat di atas sudah berakhir in the past.
6. Kata “confidence” adalah bentuk noun. Kalimat di atas butuh bentuk adjective-nya, yaitu “confident”.
SUGGESTION: You could improve your confidence and get rid of your shyness in expressing yourself in English through regular practice.

Swara Bhaskara
March 16, 2010
Wow! What a fabulous writing, Imran! It’s almost grammatically perfect. To make it better, here are some suggestions for you.
1. Yang dimaksudkan dalam “who is the one member of BBIS forum” adalah “yang merupakan salah satu anggota forum BBIS” bukan? If so,there are 4 alternatives for this phrase:
a. who is one of the members of the BBIS forum
b. who is one of the BBIS forum’s members
atau hilangkan “relative pronoun dan to be”-nya:
c. one of the members of the BBIS forum
d. one of the BBIS forum’s members
2. “explanation” is a countable noun. Because it is preceded by “more”, this noun should be in a plural form (i.e. explanations).
3. I got this site LINKED for myself there.
4. “All I have to say is this site is a really cool site” is well written except for the redundant use of the word “site”. To correct this, there are 3 alternatives you can choose from, such as,
a. All I have to say is this is a really cool site.
b. All I have to say is this site is a really cool one.
c. All I have to say is this site is really cool.
imranraif09
March 17, 2010
Thank you.
1. After reading the explanation I realized that the word “One Member” is different in meaning with “One of the member” :shy:
2. Oh my god! How rash I am!
3. Mas Aqu sebenarnya ingin mengatakan:
Saya mendapatkan link(URL) website ini untuk saya sendiri.
Tapi kalimat “Dilinkan” atau “ditautkan untuk sayasendiri” saya rasa bagus.
4. Oh thank you, Aqu jadi lebih mengerti, tapi kadang gegabah dan tetap melakukan kesalahan-2. Hmmm, harus lebih awas!

after doing this practice examp, i feel that my english skill is really need to improve. my right answer only 5 from 10 question.. he he he
Swara Bhaskara
April 4, 2010
SUGGESTIONS:
NOTE:
1. Penggunaan verb NEED.
a. Jika digunakan dalam kalimat aktif simple present tense, verb NEED tidak membutuhkan is, am, atau are.
INCORRECT kalau ditulis:
My English skill IS really needs to be improved.
b. Jika NEED diikuti oleh verb, verb (yang mengikutinya) bisa dalam bentuk infinitive atau dalam bentuk gerund. Tetapi, jika subject kalimatnya tidak aktif melakukan action (umumnya benda mati), maka bentuk infinitive-nya adalah “TO BE + VERB3″.
Tetapi (silakan bandingkan), clause di atas akan CORRECT kalau ditulis:
I really need to improve my English skill.
Selanjutnya silakan baca : Gerund dan Infinitive setelah Verb NEED.
2. Jangan lupa menambahkan -s atau -es pada benda jamak (plural noun).
3. Jangan lupa bahwa setiap kaliamat atau clause HARUS ada verb. INCORRECT kalau ditulis:
My right answers only 5 from 10 questions.
4. Keep smiling while learning English, Monalisa!

2.the man who has the psychian examined, has dead suddenly.
kata mana yang salah dan harusna gimana?
3.What about subjunctive,give more explanation?
4.Kasih ntips n trik ngatasin soal trial error dalam kalimat?
oke,,,thanks a lot
Swara Bhaskara
April 21, 2010
Hi Raja Rondo. How are you?
1&3. Untuk pertanyaan 1&3 ini sudah pernah dijawab di LINK INI.
Present subjunctive mood digunakan untuk mengekspresikan IMPORTANCE atau URGENCY yang seharusnya dilakukan oleh subject dari sub-clause:
The doctor suggested that he stop smoking.
The teacher commanded that he not be late again.
NOTE: Sub-cluasenya bertutur-turut adalah that he stop smoking. dan that he not be late again..
Perhatikan: verb STOP dan BE (dan verb lainnya) selalu dalam bentuk kata dasar. Di contoh ini, stop tidak ditambahi -s (STOPS), tidak dalam bentuk verb2 (STOPPED), tidak di awali auxiliary, dst.
INCORRECT kalau ditulis:
The doctor suggested that he stops smoking. INCORRECT
The doctor suggested that he stopped smoking. INCORRECT
The doctor suggested that he must stop smoking. INCORRECT
Begitu juga BE, dalam present subjunctive mood selalu BE (tidak pernah dalam bentuk is, am, are, was, were, been).
Kalimat 2 akan INCORRECT kalau ditulis:
The teacher commanded that he is not late again. INCORRECT
The teacher commanded that he was not late again. INCORRECT. dst.
Andaikan saja semua pola bahasa Inggris begini, alangkah mudahnya kita mempelajarinya. Kita cuman perlu menghafal vocab saja.
.
NOTE: “that” juga dapat dihilangkan, tetapi kalimatnya menjadi sbb:
The doctor suggested him to stop smoking.
The teacher commanded him not to be late again.
Imperfect subjunctive adalah untuk mengekspresikan sesuatu yang tidak mungkin terjadi (Unreal atau Contrary to fact). Silakan ikuti link di tanggapan yang saya link di atas.
2. The man who has the physician examined, has dead suddenly. ???
Kalau makna Bahasa Indonesianya sbb:
“Pria yang telah didiagnosis oleh dokter itu sudah tiba-tiba mati.”
maka kalimat Inggrisnya adalah:
The man who has been examined by the physician has died suddenly.
a. adjective clausenya dalam bentuk pasif dalam present perfect tense (telah didiagnosis = has/have been didiagnosis).
Adjective clause ini dapat juga ditulis dalam bentuk klausa aktif menjadi:
…whom the physician has examined (yang dokter itu telah diagnosis).
b. DEAD adalah kata sifat; bentuk verb3-nya adalah died.
telah mati = have/has died.
Kalau lebih suka memakai bentuk kata sifat (DEAD), dibutuhkan BEEN
(i.e. have/have been adjective), menjadi:
has been dead.
c. Di “has died” digunakan HAS (bukan HAVE) karena subject kalimatnya adalah orang ketiga tunggal (i.e. the man) dan di “who has been examined” juga digunakan HAS (bukan HAVE) karena yang digantikan oleh WHO adalah orang ketiga tunggal (i.e. the man).
Jadi, selain ditulis:
The man who has been examined by the physician has died suddenly.
juga dapat ditulis:
The man who has been examined by the physician has been dead suddenly.
The man whom the physician has examined has died suddenly.
The man whom the physician has examined has been dead suddenly.
Sedangkan, jika subject kalimatnya jamak (i.e. the men = pria-pria), barulah digunakan HAVE.
The men who have been examined by the physician have died suddenly..
The men who have been examined by the physician have been dead suddenly.
The men whom the physician has examined have died suddenly.
The men whom the physician has examined have been dead suddenly.
4. Please stay tuned.

I only make 4 right answer on this practice, so … where I should start to improve my English
Swara Bhaskara
May 2, 2010
Hi Desylina,
As pointed out by the title, this practice test is intended to figure out your weaknesses based on which you should review your English materials or topics. In other words, you should review the topics in which you got incorrect answers. Ask yourself why you chose those wrong options and why the correct ones should be like those I have explained. You should completely understand one topic before you decide to move on to another one.
If you got wrong in, for instance, question 1, you should completely understand why the best answer should be “was studying”, not “studied” or the others. To help you understand this, you should review at least the difference usage of the past continuous tense and the simple past tense, and so on.

My name is Rusli and I really need can talk in English very well. That’s why I was searching in the internet to find site who can help me to improve my english. I just found this site a few minutes ago and immediately liked it for sure. That’s why I had tried to answer the questions above but I just got 3 answers as correct from 10 questions, It’s so pathetic. I MUST do learning every time and also practices it with others to always keep remind each other if one of us did mistakes. Nice to found this site and meets you all people.
(sumpah keren ini web nya, hal yang paling susah ketika ingin belajar bahasa inggris adalah menghilangkan rasa malu kalau bahasa inggris kita itu jelek banget, apalagi kalau liat mimik muka lawan bicara yang lebih pintar. hehehe..)

Hi Rusli,
It’s nice to have you here. How are you?
In term of speaking, I believe a hundred percent that your English is excellent. Native English speakers can easily understand what you wrote above. In term of formal written English, however, it seems to me that before you did the test, you hadn’t read your English book for quite awhile, had you? But don’t worry about the mistakes! Not only do we, whose mother tongue is, of course, Indonesian, but even also native English speakers make mistakes in formal written English. So, there’s nothing to be ashamed of.
It’s not always the case that people who speak English fluently have used English well. Sometimes, we just don’t know whether what and how they speak are correct or wrong. When I took an English course for the first time, for example, one guy got me and made me feel so small because he talked and talked very fluently. Later I found out that his score had never got above 400 and that he had mostly used the English incorrectly. I tell you this in order not to let yourself down whenever you run into someone who speaks English fluently. So, let’s practice English regularly!
Dan berikut adalah bagian-bagian dari your writing above yang perlu dikoreksi sedikit:
1. “need can talk“. Jangan gunakan “can” setelah verb. Auxiliary “can” hanya digunakan sebelum verb, seperti pada “who can help” (CORRECT). Jika mengikuti verb, gunakan “be able to + verb1″ atau “be capable of + verb-ing”. Jadi, seharusnya “need to be able to talk” atau “need to be capable of talking”
2. “to find site” tambahkan article A sebelum site (i.e. “to find a site“).
3. “MUST do learning“. Tambahkan THE (i.e. “MUST do the learning“). Do di sini sebagai verb (i.e. melakukan) sedangkan learning adalah gerund. Atau rubah verb-ing menjadi verb1 (i.e. “MUST do learn“). DO di sini sebagai auxiliary untuk memberi penekanan pada verb “learn”. Dan, of course, tanpa auxiliary “do” juga bisa. (i.e. MUST learn).
4. “keep remind“. Gunakan verb-ing setelah verb “keep” (i.e. keep reminding)
5. “did mistakes“. Gunakan “make” instead of “do” jika objectnya mistake. (i.e. makes mistakes). Dalam konteks ini, lebih tepat digunakan simple present tense, instead of past tense karena merupakan ajakan yang berlangsung sampai ke future time. (i.e. …always keep reminding each other if one of us makes mistakes”)
6. “Nice to found this site and meets you“. “Found” salah ketik. Adjective “nice” dapat diikuti oleh infinitive (i.e. to + verb1) atau oleh gerund (i.e. verb-ing). Di sini, verb “meet” seharusnya paralel dengan bentuk verb yang mengikuti “nice”. Jadi, seharusnya:
Nice to find this site and to meet you all
atau “to” sebelum “meet” bisa dihilangkan karena sudah diwakili oleh “to” sebelum “find”:
Nice to find this site and meet you all
Atau kalau kita gunakan gerund:
Nice finding this site and meeting you all

this is a wonderful blog,,

Lets improve our English…

guess what? I think the English grammar is not too complicated for you. You got 8 out of 10 and there are only some tiny mistakes in your writing. You’re just being humble. But, I prefer a humble person to a big mouth one.
And here are some notes for your writing:
1. “…or it was only a coincidence”; in the simple past tense because the “coincidence” has already happened. Besides, don’t forget to put the article a to show that the coincidence is singular .
2. another should be followed by a singular noun
….another issue.
But, if you want to express plural issues, then you may say:
…other issues.

July 21, 2010
Sir, i want to explain use “of” and “the” in sentences.thankyou
Swara Bhaskara
July 21, 2010
Penggunaan OF dan THE.
1. Pada umumnya, OF digunakan untuk menjembatani noun1 dengan noun2:
noun1 + OF + noun2
dimana noun1 sebagai main noun, sedangkan noun2 difungsikan sebagai adjective untuk menerangkan noun1 tersebut.
the university of Indonesia.
the backbone of the family, dst.
Phrase seperti ini dapat kita rubah dengan menempatkan noun2 di depan noun1. Dalam hal ini, OF tidak dibutuhkan.
Indonesia University.
The family’s backbone.
Penggunaan lainnya silakan baca: Penggunaan Kata Depan OF.
2. Dalam bahasa Indonesia, kita sering bilang “buku tersebut”, “cewek tersebut”, dst. Dalam hal ini, kita gunakan kata “tersebut” karena buku dan cewek sudah pernah kita sebut dalam pembicaraan sebelumnya, dan tersebut tidak digunakan jika belum pernah disebutkan sebelumnya bukan?
Aku beli sebuah buku kemarin. Buku tersebut di dalam tasku sekarang.
Aku ketemu seorang cewek 15 menit yang lalu. Cewek tersebut sangat cantik.
Dalam bahasa Inggris, penggunaan THE sama dengan “tersebut“.
I bought a book yesterday. The book is in my bag now.
I met a girl 15 minutes ago. The girl was so beautiful.
Penggunaan THE lainnya dapat dibaca di: Penggunaan Article A, AN, and THE.

his luxuriously modeled house. noun phrase. CORRECT
2. KNOW dapat diikuti oleh noun/pronoun atau oleh how + infinitive:
know + noun/pronoun

Do I know you?
He knows this place very well.
Now I know use those words. INCORRECT
Now I know to use those words. INCORRECT
Now I know how to use those words.

you’re welcome, sir..
is there no mistake in my writing above?
unfortunately your guess was wrong, sir. i’ve done the test and the result was not good enough. i only answered six questions correctly. honestly i wrote this comment so slowly, especially to find words i want to express and to ensure my writing has no mistake. it means i have to learn english harder. i’m not confident to make a conversation especially with person who has been competent in english like you.
Swara Bhaskara
July 26, 2010
Your first writing has only two minor problems. 1). In “… because I aware…“, you missed to put a be prior to the adjective aware. In this case, it should be am. 2) In “…very important to my future.“, you should’ve used for, instead of to.
In your second comment, however, I find no problem at all, except in “Is there no mistake…?“. It would’ve been better if you had said, “Are there any mistakes…?” or “There is no mistake…, isn’t there?“.
Overall, I’m impressed. You have used tenses, the hard parts, correctly. Minor errors are common among us, even among English native speakers. So, don’t worry much about making mistakes. You just keep practicing your English because a regular practice will bring you to where you wanna be.

July 28, 2010
Sir, please give me explanation (perbedaan tulisan saya dengan your write). Thanks
Swara Bhaskara
July 28, 2010
Saya tidak akan menitikberatkan pada perbedaan, tapi lebih ke grammarnya. Pada tulisan Defi di atas, bagian-bagian yang perlu direvisi telah saya garis-bawahi.
1. explanation adalah countable noun; pilih an explanation atau explanations.
2. with sebaiknya diganti dengan about atau regarding.
3. this di my this write sebaiknya dihilangkan. Rubah write menjadi writing.
4. Hilangkan a karena news adalah uncountable noun.
5. ganti to dengan for.
6. Hilangkan are karena you berfungsi sebagai object kalimat.
7. Ganti the dengan a karena main noun shop belum diceritakan sebelumnya. “the open new shop online” menjadi “a newly opened online shop“.
8. available adalah adjective. Di sini dibutuhkan be is.
9. fashion (menurut hemat saya) lebih condong ke style, di sini saya lebih suka menggunakan kata outfit. Mohon dikoreksi kalau saya salah.
10. Kalau shop diterangkan dengan “yang menyediakan koleksi pakaian” maka “a newly opened online shop providing/selling a collection of outfits” atau “a newly opened online shop that provides/sells a collection of outfits“.
11. Kalau 7, 8, 9 dan 10 digabung, maka menjadi “a newly opened online shop providing/selling a collection of outfits is available now” atau “ a newly opened online shop that provides/sells a collection of outfits is available now”
12. Tambahkan object kalimat setelah verbsee (misalnya: see it); Gunakan at (bukan on atau in) kalau diikuti oleh address. Begitu juga kalau diikuti oleh email account.
13. Revisi “for you are places” dengan ” for those who live/reside..” atau “for those living/residing…“. Kalau place digunakan sebagai verb artinya adalah menempatkan. (e.g. I don’t know where I should place this table).
14. free sent price; harga dengan ongkos/biaya beda kan? Gunakan price untuk harga, sedangkan expense untuk ongkos/biaya;
“free sent….” dapat kita revisi menjadi “free sending..”, atau yang lebih umum lagi “free delivery..”.
15. the tidak dibutuhkan; product outfit atau outfit product???? Jangan lupa menambahkan s setelah countable noun kalau diawali dengan more.
16. tambahkan a sebelum discount: a discount of Rp. 5000 atau a Rp. 5000 discount.
17. tidak perlu go sebelum visit karena visit sudah mengandung makna go.
18. in tidak diperlukan; “let’s visit my Facebook”
19. “I have not a real shop” vs “I don’t have a real shop“. Benar dua-duanya. Cuman, gunakan yang pertama kalau ngobrol sama orang Inggris atau Australia; gunakan yang kedua kalau dengan orang Amerika dan Kanada.
20. Yang terakhir kurang to be. “My home is at...”.

i am sorry for replying your comment late..
i was so busy lately so that i didn’t have much time to be online. Despite i know it was not a good reason.hehe.. i have two simply questions for you, sir?
1. Firstly, I am still confused to choose among (in, on, at) when i want to speak or write a sentence. Could you please explain me about that? or if you have explained it before, you may help me to find an article in this site explaining about that.
2. The second question is about difference between can and could. i supposed that the difference was only about present or past. but after watched some films i think it is more than that, isn’t it? (one example i’ve used in my first question above)

Hi Ariv21,
Please read Penggunaan Instead first! If then you still have further questions, please don’t hesitate to post them!
Regarding your writing, it only needs a preposition to prior to “me“. Besides, the preposition about is not necessary here.
Would you describe to me the use of “instead”, please?
Or, you can also put the object pronoun “me” after the direct object “the use of “instead”, as follows,
Would you describe the use of “instead” to me, please?
And in “…if there any mistake“, it should be “…if there are any mistakes“. You forgot to put an are after the there, and to add a suffix s on the mistake. However, you can use singular noun after any if it is used to express every:
Please correct any mistake in my writing!
Any mistake you’ve done has been forgiven.
Any one of you looks great.

Your question above has succeeded to make me ashamed sir.hehe..
So i suppose my answer will be no longer necessary. It was a small mistake that i shouldn’t make. Maybe if i were more careful, i would not made that mistake.
Considering your request, i actually think i have not been competent yet to describe what i’ve done to Ariv21. I am still so amateur and still so far from experts in english. However, i’ll try to describe later.
Regarding my previous question, i still have a confusion about the use of “in and on”, especially related to month and date.

It was not an attempt to embarrass you at ll. In contrast, it was, believe me, a pure compliment for you. I was so impressed with your writing.
As for simply vs simple, I knew you just mistyped it. When I have spare time, I will add a new feature on this blog by which any writer will have a chance to edit his or her writing before being submitted.
And as usual, in your last writing, I notice (please pay attention to the underlined clauses!),
It was a small mistake that I shouldn’t make. Maybe if I were more careful, I would not made that mistake.
Now, let’s compare them to the following ones,
It was a small mistake that I shouldn’t have made. Maybe if I had been more careful, I would not have made that mistake.
As you notice, I’ve changed them into unreal conditional sentences whose facts are in the simple past tense, namely,
1. I made a small mistake.
2. I was not careful enough.
3. I made that mistake.
